About the Assessor’s Office
The Thornton Township Assessor’s Office is responsible for the assessment of property values within the township, ensuring fair and accurate property tax assessments for all residents. First elected in 2011, Assessor Cassandra Holbert-Elston brings decades of experience from the Cook County Assessor’s Office to this role.
